Report content or conduct
Last updated: 28 July 2026
Anyone can report something on Dublo — you do not need an account and you do not need to be the person affected. Email support@dublolearn.app, or use Report on a tutor's profile if you are signed in. This page explains what to send, what we do with it, and what happens if you disagree with the outcome.
What you can report
- A tutor profile — a misleading claim, a photo or video that is not the tutor's own, impersonation, or anything unlawful.
- Something that happened in a lesson — harassment, discrimination, sexual content, a request to pay outside Dublo, a request for personal contact details, or a tutor teaching someone who is under 18.
- Anything else on Dublo you believe is illegal or breaks our Terms — including copyright or trademark infringement, which you can also send to the same address.
What to include
Tell us what you saw, where you saw it (the tutor's profile link, or the date and time of the lesson), and why you think it is wrong. If you can, say whether you were involved or are reporting as a bystander. Give us an email address if you want to hear the outcome — an anonymous report is still acted on, we just cannot write back. Do not send passwords or payment-card details.
Please report honestly. Reports are read by people, and a deliberately false report to damage a tutor is itself a breach of our Terms.
What happens next
- We confirm we have received it, normally within 2 working days, if you gave us an address.
- We look at the report ourselves. Lessons are not recorded — not the video, audio or chat — so for anything that happened inside a lesson we can only work from what you and the other person tell us, plus booking and connection records. This is a deliberate privacy choice, and it is why your description matters.
- We decide and act. Depending on what we find, we may do nothing, ask for a change, remove a profile detail, pause a tutor's profile, cancel bookings and refund them, remove a tutor from Dublo, or close an account. Serious matters are reported to the authorities where the law requires it.
- We aim to decide within 10 working days and tell you the outcome. Where a report needs someone else's response first, it can take longer, and we will say so rather than go quiet.
If we act against you
If we restrict, pause or remove your profile, your content or your account, we tell you what we did, why, and what rule it relied on, and whether the decision came from a report, our own checks or a legal requirement. You can reply to that message to contest it: a person who was not involved in the original decision reviews it, and we reverse the decision if it was wrong. Tutors have the same right, and it is also written into the Tutor Agreement.
Nothing here limits your right to go to a court, a consumer body or a supervisory authority in your country instead of, or as well as, contacting us.
Urgent risk to someone's safety
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then tell us at support@dublolearn.app with "URGENT" in the subject line so we can act quickly on the account.
