Tutor Application Terms
Version 2026-07-28, effective 28 July 2026
These short terms govern your application to become a tutor on Dublo and your use of the tutor panel before your profile goes live. They are between you and Konit, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA — "Konit", "Dublo", "we"). Before your profile is shown to learners or you deliver any paid lesson, you will be asked to accept the full Tutor Agreement, which will set out lesson, payment and conduct terms in detail.
1. What applying means
Submitting an application creates a tutor account and lets you build a profile and enter your weekly availability. It does not create an employment relationship, does not oblige us to approve or list you, and does not oblige you to teach. We review applications by hand and may approve, reject or ask for more information at our discretion.
2. Independent contractor
If approved, you would work with Dublo as an independent contractor. Nothing in the application process or the tutor panel makes you an employee, agent, franchisee, legal representative or partner of Konit. You will be responsible for your own taxes, social contributions and legal compliance in your country.
3. Your profile content
You confirm that the name, photo, video, bio and other content you submit are yours, are accurate, and do not infringe anyone's rights. You grant Konit a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and reasonably promote this content in the Dublo product and marketing for the purpose of presenting you as a tutor. You can edit or remove your content at any time; removing it may make your profile unlistable.
4. Rates and commission
You set your own price per lesson. Dublo's current commission rates are published on the Teach on Dublo page. Rates for actual lessons are fixed in the full Tutor Agreement before you can be booked; any later change is announced at least 30 days ahead and never affects lessons already booked.
5. Your data
We process your application data (name, email, photo, video, bio, price, timezone, availability) to operate the tutor programme, as described in our Privacy Policy. Payout identity and banking data are collected later by Stripe, not by us. You can request deletion of your application at any time via support@dublolearn.app.
6. Conduct and termination
Keep your profile truthful and professional. We may suspend or remove tutor accounts that provide false information, infringe rights or abuse the platform. You may withdraw your application at any time. Sections 2, 3 (for content already published with your consent), 5 and 7 survive termination.
7. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer or labour protections of your country of residence remain unaffected where they apply. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. The full Tutor Agreement, once accepted, supersedes these Application Terms for the matters it covers.
