Special category data. We do not ask for it. Course content is general-interest and not tailored to health, beliefs or origin. If you volunteer something sensitive in a lesson or a message, we process it only to deliver the message.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

The service keeps a few things on your device that it cannot work without, and those are set without asking. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only with your consent. See the Cookie Notice.

3. Recipients

Personal data is disclosed to the service providers we use to run DubloLearn — hosting, database, payments, video, email, the AI assistant, and, where you have consented, analytics and advertising measurement. They are listed in Subprocessors, which says what each of them touches.

We also disclose personal data where the law requires it, and to professional advisers where necessary.

4. Lesson recordings

Lessons are not recorded by default. Recording requires both parties to agree separately in the app before the lesson starts. We store the fact of that agreement and its timestamp. Either party can withdraw at any time. Konit does not receive, store or have access to a recording.

Several countries and US states require all parties to consent to a recording. Publishing or sharing a recording without the other person’s written permission breaches the Community Guidelines and may be a criminal offence.

5. How long we keep things

Account, profile, messages, study progress While your account is open, then deleted or anonymised after a short grace period
Lessons, attendance, invoices, payouts, tax records As long as tax, accounting and payment law requires us to keep them
Assistant conversations For a limited period, so that you can see your own history
Recording-consent records, security and access logs As long as needed for the purpose they were created for — evidencing consent, and investigating security and fraud
Identity and background checks (tutors) For the duration of the relationship and a limited period afterwards
Legal-document acceptances As long as needed to prove what you agreed to

When you close your account we delete or irreversibly anonymise everything except what we are legally required to keep. Those records are stripped of anything not needed for the legal purpose.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, export, restrict and object. Settings → Privacy in the app gives you data export and account deletion. You can also write to support@dublolearn.app; we do not require an account or a particular form.

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing does not affect what was done before.

Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to your data, you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, and you do not have to come to us first.

Where a US state privacy law applies to you, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. Advertising cookies may count as sharing under those laws; refusing them in the cookie banner opts you out.

7. International transfers

Konit is established in the United States and our service providers are listed in Subprocessors, with the country each operates in. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the United Kingdom, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, together with the UK Addendum where the UK applies. You can ask us for a copy at support@dublolearn.app.

8. The AI assistant

The assistant is an AI system, and you are told so in the app at the point you use it. It uses Anthropic’s Claude. Your conversations are sent to Anthropic to generate a reply and are not used to train models. Do not put payment details, passwords or identity document numbers into it.

9. Children

DubloLearn is for adults. You must be 18. We ask for date of birth at registration and enforce it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we close the account and delete the data. If you believe a minor has an account, tell us at support@dublolearn.app.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, and review them. Where a breach affects you and the law requires us to tell you, we will.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects by automated means alone. Where a decision affects you, you can challenge it — see section 16 of the Learner Terms of Service.

12. Changes

If we change this Policy materially we tell you by email and in the app before it takes effect, and the effective date above changes.
