DubloLearn Balance (“duble”) Terms

Effective date: 1 September 2026 · Version: 1.0

Part of the Learner Terms of Service. Issued by Konit, LLC.

1. What it is

Your DubloLearn balance — we call it duble — is credit on your account that you can spend on DubloLearn.

It arises in only one way: when we owe you money back and you choose to keep it as balance instead of taking it to your card. A tutor cancelled, a lesson could not go ahead, you used the money-back guarantee, or we made a billing error.

2. What it is not

You cannot buy it. There is no top-up, no purchase and no gift card. It only ever consists of money you already paid us and are entitled to have back.

It has no cash value. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person, sold, or exchanged for money.

It is not a bank account, not a deposit, not a payment instrument, and not electronic money. Konit is not a bank or a financial institution and provides no financial services.

3. What you can do with it

Spend it on anything on DubloLearn: a lesson with any tutor, a lesson package, a group session, or your DubloLearn Study subscription.

It is applied at checkout before your card, and you can see it at any time in Billing.

4. You choose the form, before it becomes balance

Whenever we owe you money back, we ask you where you want it — to the card or account you paid from, or as DubloLearn balance. You pick.

Once you have chosen balance, it is balance, and it is credit for things on DubloLearn rather than an account you can take money out of.

You have 7 days to change your mind about a particular credit. Tell us at support@dublolearn.app and we will put that amount back on your card. This applies whether you chose balance yourself or it was credited automatically because a tutor did not appear. The 7 days attaches to each credit, not to your balance as a whole; once it has passed, that amount is balance.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law to a refund to your original payment method.

5. Expiry

Your balance does not expire while your account is open.

If you close your account, tell us and we will return any remaining balance to your original payment method where we can.

6. The limit

Your balance is capped at USD 2,000 or the equivalent in your currency. If a refund would take you over that, we pay the excess back to your card instead.

7. If we close your account

If we close your account for any reason other than fraud or a deliberate breach that caused loss, we refund your remaining balance to your original payment method.

8. Currency

Your balance is held in the currency you paid in. If you spend it on something priced in another currency, we convert at the rate shown to you at the time.
